This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. It is located at the heart of the city, making all attractions easily accessible. The staff members are friendly and provide excellent service from check-in to check-out. The basic amenities in the room are satisfactory, with a comfortable bed and a good working AC. Additionally, the breakfast spread is diverse and satisfying.
Everything was okay and met my expectations.

Please write at least 15 words Very friendly and helpful staff; excellent breakfast and other food good; it was great to have a swimming pool; room was comfortable and good size; free internet access.
Location - the walk into the centre of KK was a little long (it was very hot when we stayed there) but not too bad. Location was good for access to the KK Museum area. No other dislikes.

The front office staff and the housemaids are all very friendly and humble.
The room and corridor furnishing are a bit old fashioned. could do with some renovations to keep up to date

Had really comfortable stay for the 2 nights of my stay, the staff were outstandingly accommodating, location was marvellous to 3 banks. The breakfast was particularly good mostly for Asian food, with a wide array of food. Location: the hotel was short walk to close to the waterfront for night markets, the airport, and waterfront. I found Morganfield's offering shots and different drinks 1 mi of the venue.

The standout factor for this hotel was the staff. They were always polite, very helpful, attentive and ready with a smile. Other good points were that the facilities were clean and I got the non-smoking room I wanted.
The worst thing was that the WiFi network was very slow or nonexistent at times. The Beverly is in the midst of upgrading to a new network and I got stuck in the middle of it. Staff was very helpful and we determined that the issue was that their ISP or server was conflicting with my DNS settings.Other factors were that some things just did not work such as the room phone was a bit wonky, the safe's battery was depleted, the shuttle bus was down one day for maintenance and the lobby phone was always out of order. Location was also a bit problematic in that it is a fair walk to the downtown core and the crossings can be dangerous. Breakfast buffets were pretty much what I expected from earlier reviews.

Great Easter stay!
Lovely hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with lots of variety. We enjoyed the complimentary chocolate eggs and hot cross buns! The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and key tourist sites.
The wifi in our room did not work properly. We had to go to the lobby to use it.

I liked the food, both with the complimentary breakfast and the food quality in general.
there was a function at the consulate next door the first night, that kept me awake with loud music when we had just arrived from a big day of travelling. Not the greatest start to a honeymoon.

Comfortable Stay
I stayed at a 4-star hotel in Kota Kinabalu for five nights and got a great price. The room was cozy and well-furnished. The housekeeper always made sure it was clean and ready for me to relax in the evenings. The breakfast had delicious Malaysian dishes, although it would be even better with a water station. Alffian, the concierge supervisor, was an encyclopedia of information and helped me with everything from tourist attractions to travel bookings. The only areas for improvement are the responsiveness to maintenance requests and the Wi-Fi speed in the rooms. Despite these small issues, I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu.
